An education background is not required as most of our franchisees have corporate background. A bachelor's degree as well as a passion for educating children are required.
Each new franchise must go through the two part-training prior to the opening of a center: the curriculum training to be completed at home and the four-day operations training at the PEAC headquarters.
In addition to the initial franchise training, we provide our new franchisees with the Operation Manual and Design Book, which include valuable information on site selection, center design and management, and marketing collateral. A designated franchise manager will help you every step of the way to the grand opening and beyond.
The initial investment, as stated in our Franchise Disclosure Document, ranges from $56,000-$92,000. The investment includes the $12,000 franchise fee. We require a net worth of $100,000 and liquid capital of $60,000.
There is a monthly base fee of $395 plus 7% (or $10) per subject enrolled at the center. With an enrollment 100 subjects, the royalty is $1,395 ($395 + $1,000). It is less than half of what it would be with Kumon ($38 x $100 = $3,800). The monthly tuition for a single subject ranges from $150 to $175.
While it is likely to be full-time work in the beginning, most established franchisees work the afternoon hours. Our minimum center opening requirement is four days per week for at least four hours for a minimum of 16 hours per week.
